I bought both PolyD and Argon with the intention of making two identical bridge hammocks so I could compare fabrics. That's going to be a real challenge for me, because my designs keep evolving. I'll need to build the two hammocks simultaneously to get them the same. (I keep getting ideas... )
WV I wish I had your brain.

I have a 1.2 oz PolyD and a 1.6 oz Argon hammock. While I haven't compared them side-by-side yet, I'd tend to concur with the "mattress firmness" comparison; the PolyD feels quite solid; and it's a stiffer fabric than the Argon, which feels rather soft. I was worried the PolyD might be too slick of a fabric for me to feel comfortable in, but that turned out not to be the case.

I've got 10 lb on you and have been sleeping in my 1.4 polyd the last couple night without any issues. I don't have any major ridges and it conforms similar to my double 1.5 ripstop nylon. It's 12' long and if I did it again I'd probably go 11' and still might cut it down. Not sure how 10' would be for me at 6' tall.
