    Albums and photos

So I added an album so that I can add some photos, then when I look at the album some of the pictures I uploaded are sideways and upside down. Why? I don't know. I can rotate pictures in the gallery but it seems once they are in an album you can't rotate them. Please help.

That is the actual orientation of those photos. You didn't realize it before, because your photo viewer was automatically rotating them. In order to change the orientation you need to "save" them in the correct orientation before uploading.

Photos should also be sized before uploading so that the entire photo can be viewed instead only seeing a small section and having to scroll to see the whole thing.

Gmcttr is right. It's an unfortunate issue many people face when sharing photos on platforms like this one. The photos are displayed the correct way in your photo software, but aren't saving that rotation change permanently back into the file. It's complicated, but it can be fixed. A Google search should help you solve it quickly. Just remember to search for a solution specific to the photo viewing program you're using on your computer.

Weird, would it help if I used something like photobucket. Its weird since I took the pic upright with my phone then upload and its sideways did my phone flip it?

After you upload your image you should be able to edit it on the web site and rotate it.

I have noticed some posted photos appear 'full size' in threads, but when I attach pics, they are thumbnail size. What can I do to make them large and in charge like the others I have seen?

    Thanks!

Upload them to a photo sharing site (or I think to your album on HF) and use the Insert Image function to add the link to your post.

Uploading as an attachment always limits you to a thumbnail being displayed.
