Also interested in combining said pad with a 40deg Underquilt, how low would that go?
I believe there is a post by Youngblood where a pdf of a chart is given. The chart shows his experience of temp ratings not only for CCF of different thicknesses, but also other pads and even combinations of pads. Sorry I didn't provide a link. Just starting to use a forum for the first time
43*F .. I was uncomfortably cold, I had shorts and poly T-shirt on. Since I was testing, I bailed instead of messing with adding a layer.

FWIW the fine grain blue CCF is Volara Foam or a competitor. The R value is about 3.6 per inch of thickness.

I think the stiffer coarse grain blue pads are Polyethylene foam with an R value of around 3.
FWIW the zote family of foams fall into the same range
All those values are for 1 inch of thickness. The division is linear so a 1/8 inch pad would be material R divided by 8. For example a Volara foam would be 3.6/8=0.45. The 3/8 inch version 1.35 and the 1/2 inch 1.8. Those are the common thickness's sold for camping pads.
I don't think there is a better flexible material than Volara Foam. There are heavier foams with lower R values sold for Yoga mats and similar uses but the combination of nitrogen bubbles and I forgot what plastic. ;-) I don't mind correction with sites so please do it if you can. Now if somebody relates R value to sleeping comfort temperature range we will get a complete picture.
YMMV

Free advice worth what you paid for it. ;-)
I know personally an R1 is comfy down to about freezing, so I'm gonna guess 45-50F
