Very cool, thanks for sharing, though I haven't yet had to do this. It is good to know I have the option.

Another way to set up this tarp would be to prop up the foot end with a collapsed trekking pole or a stick. Close the doors like you would if it were pitched over a hammock. This would lessen the chance of rain water pooling at the lower end and keep the damp tarp from touching the foot of your sleeping bag.
I order one this week. I have two Argon tarps, but wanted a winter tarp with doors. Considered making one, but just love what I see in the Superfly, so decided to give Warbonnet more business.

LOVE mine -- canNOT go wrong with Warbonnet.
Seven pages should cover it but I just have to weigh in...
I set mine up in a thunderstorm that turned into a snowstorm during the night. The wind sounded like a herd of freight trains roaring through the woods. Slept like a baby dry warm and snug. Sure hated to answer the call of nature during the night though...
Ditto on nature's call Capt! Had my first hang in the smokies this month! Poured the entire time, luckily the WBBB XLC was super comfy and the SF kept me dry for 10 straight hours in a driving rainstorm!! Ugggg
