hi all-
what do you do with your gear while hanging? does it hang from your ridgeline, lay on the ground, strapped to a tree?

Up to now I had it hanging from the foot end of my hammock. But I want to switch to a light-weight gear hammock.

Haven't tried it yet but I'm in the process of making a gear hammock/bushcraft chair/hammock seat all in one. I can use it as a seat around camp or on the hike in and then store my gear in it under the setup at night. Should have made it out of silnylon and it could have been a pack cover also but I already bought 1.6 hyper d. 2 T's outdoors makes a nice one!
