I took this pic of Short Stuff a little bit ago. We were laying in his hammock on the back porch and before I knew what happened, he fell asleep. Must be a rough life these days being 5. I think I'm going to have that enlarged and frame it. Cheap-Mart, here we come.

Nice. Its great to see parents who invest in thier children. I think parents should have to obtain a license before having a kid. Alot of the people I see have no interest in thier kids. BD

Cool pics. Great job getting your kids into it. On my last overnight to RRG I saw a guy teaching his young kid who to get water from a stream. I always like seeing the next generation get into hiking.

Sharp eyes, BD. Bet you're a detective. It was Short Stuff's christmas present last year. All he wanted last year was his own hammock. I try and be a good father to him. I think I'm doing an OK job. Now that I'm getting back to the outdoors after a hiatus that was entirely too long for my liking, I'm trying to pass all that on to my son. So far, he's eating it up. He loves to go camping, play in small streams, run around in the woods and just have a general good time outdoors. It does my heart good to know that the love for the outdoors my dad passed on to me is now going on to him. My only regret? It took me so long to get him started.
