Thumbs up High 5 from Texas

So I've been playing with hammocks for a little bit but I never had a really good experience with them, always cold. I wanted to be able to backpack for more than two or three days but not have the pain of sleeping on the hard ground. I found Shug on YouTube and he definatly laid out the options avalible to making a hammock more comfortable. ProfessorHammock also on YouTube filled in some blanks on a few questions. I have done several little setups or partial setups but this past weekend I was able to do a total setup and slept overnight. Nothing crazy just 32 here in Texas I'm no Shug and I was overly prepared for 32 degrees.

    Warbonnet Travelers Hammock
Warbonnet Bug Net (not pictured but will totally fit in the hammock stuff sack on the hammock with straps and slings)
Jacks R Better Sierra Sniveller TQ
    Warbonnet Yetti UQ

Titanium stakes from Dutchweargear (not pictured came in next morning)

I'm using bungee cord from the craft section in walmart and 550 cord for most of the tarp lines. I use the provided whoopie slings and tree straps for the hammock with any stick as a toggle.

It was all closed up at night and kinda stupid warm with a 20 degree UQ and TQ I had to learn ways to vent this. Since I can trust a hammock to keep me warm, high and dry now my girlfriend and I are taking hammocks on our AT trip this year. She has a Blackbird and I might be a little jealous with my traveler but I like how simple it is. I can't stress enough how well made these things are. You guys really make great products worth every penny.

This is an amazing community of people I have pulled so much information from these forums even before I joined. I found links to products I was interested in and there were really good deals to be had and excellent craftsmanship in everything I have purchased. Thank you all so much! I am really excited to be sleeping in this on my next trip out.

    Thanks again!
Dan from http://www.woodgaz-stove.com/ cool dude got my fancee feast from him after seeing it in Shugs videos so much.
