+1 on a sticky just for this. In fact a page with this tip when you go to the search function would be even better. This is not just hammock forums, search on forums in general is horrible. There is such a wealth of knowledge locked away in some of these online forums. As far as I know, which is not much, Google does not have an API that allows forum owners to just incorporate it into the software, but they should.

+1 on the sticky along with a "common acronym list" for not just the noobies. I just picked up an XYZ UQ from UGQ for my WBBB. We hammock-folk speak a different language and the conventional search engine doesn't like 4-letter and fewer words.
I have added TallPaul's Hammock Forums Quick Tips to the navbar under the Home Tab and the Forum tab. You can also view them here https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/content.php/131.

Thanks for the tip. For someone like me looking for info and getting bombarded with several opinions in a short period, using google to find something I vaguely remembered works better than using the forums search.
