You can bring the kids too. there will be several there. Of course I understand if you want to get out to the woods alone and be able to converse with adults.

Just to get a clarification if I can. The following folks are bringing smoked pork: Bonepile, Stubby, JDK, Kingsford. Could you please let me know how much you are preparing? I'm going to do some beef as well for those that don't do pork

....I might be able to pull another main course out of the hat. I am planning on doing the baked beans one night, iwht sausage and bacon.

well we had about 80 I was told last year, so I'm planning on 80-100 maybe. Have 30 something signed up as of now. I know of at least 6 people who said they are coming who's names I don't see on the list. So just plan for 80, we should be fine.

I was just thinking about strawberry short cake. Yum. Wouldn't some cool strawberry short cake be nice on a warm May night? I might have to adjust some stuff on the dessert menu.

Thanks Hotlips, but we're looking forward to getting away without the kids. We camp quite often with the kids. As a matter of fact, I'm hanging and typing this on my first of 4 weekends in a row at Scout Camp.

I think I may need to adjust my dessert if we're really talking 80+ ppl.

I will be smoking two butts about 8 pounds each. Not sure how much the final product will weigh.
