    Cool Just ordered a Ridgerunner

And I'm pretty excited to give it a try. I'll be using my Incubator 20 +1 and a BA Lost Ranger 15 degree sleeping bag. I've been doing tons of research on the RR and had started looking at the BB but ultimately decided on the RR. I plan on trying it padless first, then maybe add my BA pad. It's only 20" wide so we'll see how it does, I've read a 25" pad fits better. I also have a Superfly so I'm looking forward to more of Brandon's excellent work.

I'm anxious to hear how the Incubator works (with pics, maybe?) I've been in discussion with others about maybe giving one a try...

    Thanks Chriss.

Shug, I watched those earlier. Your videos are largely why I choose the gear I do. Thank you for all your efforts and entertainment.

Passinthru, here's the vid that made me happy my new Incubator would work. I just bought it after all .

I'm a fan of the RR.I have been thinking of putting together a video with a few tips specific to the RR....maybe if it ever warms up and dries out around here I will get a chance to do that.

I use a Wilderness Logics summer series full underquilt on the ridgerunner for warmer weather. I began by looping over the bar ends like you do in the video. I've found that I get a better fit if I clip into some small carabiners (that are clipped into the loops normally used by the Lynx underquilt). This effectively shortens the width and makes the rectangular quilt conform to the cat cut of the hammock a bit better. Hope the rambling nonsense above makes some sense.

Not rambling at all, do you have a pic by chance? It may make more sense for me once I get to see the RR in person.

locknload - Do you know if the incubator in that video is the regular length or long?

That I don't know. From everything I've read, I don't remember any mention of needing a long vs regular. I'll report back after mine comes in.
