Hey everyone!
This is our hike on the Lost Coast Trail in Northern California. The Lost Coast trail gets it's name because this section of land was too steep and rugged to build a road and Highway 1 veers inland 20 miles around this remote section of coastline. There are no roads or cars, cell reception and even getting to the trailhead is a journey in itself. It is only accessible by hiking.
We hiked the northern section and did an "in and out" hike for a total of 48 miles. I don't think I've ever seen this much wildlife on a trip before. We saw deer, whales, sea lions and literally saw hundreds of seals in the time we were there. This was a fantastic hike with plenty of water sources and amazing scenery. My only complaint was the tree situation was not good. But, with a trail that beautiful, I got over it and I can't wait to make it out there again.
Thanks for watching!
