    Dynaglide alternative?

FSE ROBLINE MRX-2 Dyneema Lashing Line 2mm 880lbs break strength. http://www.westmarine.com/buy/ronsta...ecs-_-MB-_-PDP. Might work well for those who don't like Dynaglide's colors. Thinner than Amsteel, thicker and stronger than Lash-It.
Hammocking, car camping, backpacking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Getting in touch with nature is getting expensive. Good thing I can DIY!

I can't seem to find MRX-2 on the Teufelberger website - I wonder if they discontinued it, or changed the name.

It looks like it should be a suitable alternative.

I recently picked up some FSE Robline Ocean 3000 2mm cord in grey, which is similar to dynaglide. Strength listed at 400daN, which is about 900lbf - not sure if this is avg strength or min. I got it from Milwaukee Rigging off ebay, 70ft for about 26.50 shipped (bought out all they had left of the grey, but you can probably call them and see when/if they're getting more).

FWIW Teufelberger now lists dynaglide min. breaking strength as 850lbs. Previously, before NER was bought by them, it was listed as 1000lb avg breaking strength I believe.

It appears to be comparable to Dynaglide if you can stand the higher price.

There's always the 5/64" (1.984mm) new england ropes HTS 75 Dyneema single braid. Literature says it has a 1,000 lb breaking strength.

currently westmarine has the all grey version of that all white, for five cents a foot less, than that all white version.

    u.willie,
Can you throw a link up to that? I can't seem to find it on WM's website.
    Thanks
A hanging, though, was something different. I got to thinking. We hadn’t never been to nothing just to have a good time. A hanging was special and we was all getting to go.

I bought the orange Dynaglide from Dutch thinking it would glow in the dark. It's great during the day, but offers no increased visibility at night. Is there a glow in the dark or reflective cord that can be spliced?
