Well I will see some of you tomorrow afternoon.
The weather is still up in the air. We will see what comes down upon our heads and know what we get as it arrives.
I have gotten things set up to be on my way out of town two to three hours early. So I should be there between 4&6. See you all at the trail head.
A canoe or trike to do most of the hauling.
A hammock to take away the bumps at night.
Now that's the way to go.
Well I've checked the weather for every town north or southeast of where we'll be. So daytime temps will be between 88 and 77 and nighttime between 67 and 57 with a chance of rain and some sun
As for fish; I'm looking forward to trying but keeping my expectations low. I don't have a clue what the river's like where we'll be and rainbow aren't the easiest. Still willing to carry the 12 oz of rod, reel and some flies just to say I tried. So my base weight shoots up to just over 8 lbs.
Looks like I have to work some in the morning but I'll still get there by early evening.
Can't seem to write a limeric to save my life so I'll try a bit tomorrow but might have to simply enjoy hearing yours!
Be safe coming down everyone.
Gideon
Hello,
I really apologize for not coming, last minute meeting decided with my advisor this Saturday.
I hope you guys enjoy it.
It was great and no lack of "interesting". Sorry you couldn't make it and hopefully you can next time!
Gideon
How'd you guys like that last 5 miles coming out of fiddler?
That trail was ridiculous!
I loved it but my favorite was the goat path on the "rim" heading down into Fiddler Springs. I could imagine myself hiking in Oregon or something. I didn't enjoy the spider webs and I managed to actually eat one spider on the way out.
So when you were heading out, did you see the two folding camp chairs on the trail? We actually packed them out and Skygzr packed out a trash bag full of junk from Fiddler Springs. He definitely set the example to be emulated!

Yes, figured one of you older folks may want a rest on the way out so we left them alone.
Edit: since you edited your op I guess my post makes me look a bit assholish. Yes, saw them but didn't want to pack them out. I did pack out some trash though.

Don't think that! I wouldn't have packed them out if Skygzer hand't of set the example. I was just real curious who left them. Also found an empty knife sheath for a blade that was 7 or more inches. All of it looked like it had only been there a day or so. Weird!
As for the old guy, I did need a rest!
It was all good Mohiker!
