I can tell already this trip is going to make me have to spend more money on gear...lol.
Maybe I'll just show up and do it Les Stroud style with a base weight of badass. Looks like there is going to be a big turnout, should we be concerned about the 10 person group rule the area has?
I suspect we won't have to MoHiker79. Usually, a few drop close to the day. If we're suprised and we have that many at the start, we can split into two groups and manage it.
And I know what you mean about the spend. Everytime I hike with these guys I learn a bit and get an idea on what I need to buy for the next time! I wish Diyguy could make it. He see's what everyone's using and then makes it himself!
It'll be a good trip and I can't wait, it's been too long and it's been a long, stressful summer!

Cool list and I like the head lamp!! Love how that site sets up gear lists and I can't wait to see your new pack. I've looked at them on line dozens of times but never seen one in person!
Thanks for posting Disco!

I almost forgot Disco, don't forget to pack your folding saw for wood processing for the group!
Disco-
Outstanding- ok that will force me to go back and rethink a few items! That is a great spread sheet, can you share that?
Gideon-
20 lbs?.... I am going to run you like a deer on the first day of the season... ! seriously, I have been fighting a few pounds as well and it is just amazing how fast ( a few beers) I can put it on and how slow it is to take it off...

Just wait until fifty. It goes on easy and takes for ever to come back off.
A canoe or trike to do most of the hauling.
A hammock to take away the bumps at night.
Now that's the way to go.
