I haven't been able to find silnylon fabric for sale in Canada as of yet. I have found that some of the smaller "cottage" gear makers here will ship to Canada for reasonable rates. You just have to ask.

I ended up ordering my Silnylon and noseeum from OWF. Shipping and customs wasn't all that bad. Just take some time and think of the next few projects you want to do, and place a bigger order to take advantage of consolidating your shipment. Just another excuse to make more gear! hehe

The regular ripstop at Fabricland is around 1.6oz or so... not bad, I've made a few hammocks from it and it works fine. The thing is, if your wife is into sewing, sign her up for their membership card and you find out about additional discounts. Then wait for one of their bigger weekend sales (**% off everything for 2 days kind of thing). Then double up the discounts and you can get that nylon for $9/m. How do I know? My wife works at one and she also gets the employee discount (that's three discounts for me, hehehe).

I see this thread is pretty much dead, but as for an update on the situation here in Canada, still nothing. Everything I have found ships either overseas, or from the US.
Check out my youtube channel. Vids about hammock camping, geocaching and outdoor fun.
