it's sure to be an awesome time! I'm looking forward to getting some miles in. I'll have some rental gear with me should anyone want to try out a hammock set-up (insulated hammocks with toppers and tarps). reply here or shoot me a pm.

If my girlfriend comes then she'll probably want to use one of your hammocks; possibly a topper and tarp also. I planned on ordering her one along with mine but my tax return was garbage this year so she'll have to wait a little longer! I'll be sure to let you know closer to that weekend. It's going to come down to what the temperature will be whether she comes or not.

I'll have to stay on the lookout for the next one, I'm going down Saturday (St. Valentine's Day) to do some trail maintenance in the Rock Bridge area with a volunteer group RRGTC. I plan on staying the night and possibly Sunday night as well for some solo time in the woods. Last I checked Saturday is cloudy mid 30s for the highs with lows around 22 that night. Its still 10 days out though. FYI we saw young adult bear prints in the ice on the south end of Swift Camp Creek trail last month so make sure you have bear bags and know how to use them. You guys have fun and a good hang! I look forward to meeting you all on a future hang.

Looks like I am able to get to this one.... but will need to come out after work Friday afternoon. Where should I expect to find everyone?
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

I just checked weather underground for Slade. Sat 14th 34F high with 50% chance snow less than 1 inch lows that night around 6F WINDS 15-25mph. Looks like you guys will be testing the bottom end of the gear this weekend! I hope there is no ice on Indian Stairway! That is sketchy going up with a pack on when its dry! You folks be careful!
