The hook/eyebolts is just going thru a hole in the decorative cut out, I'm assuming?
I may be interested. You could even make one with the hammock forums logo that would be awesome.

Pineapplenewton, I should have considered your coolness and listed my post as the worlds second coolest hammock hanger.
yes the eyebolts go through the cutout and into the studs. I figured that would get the best support. Laser jet would be nice. Mine were cut with a plasma machine. I used to run a water jet and could get so much more detail. My wife likes the bed and won't switch to a hammock. She keeps hoping I'll give it up, but this morning I laid on the bed for half an hour and felt three different parts of my back hurting.
PGibson, post the pictures when you are done. I'd like to see them. As far as the Hammock Forums logo, if the owner gives me permission I could draw it up, and probably even cut some, but check with a local plasma/waterjet or laser cutter, they might be able to do them cheaper. I could email them a dwg. or dxf. file that they should be able to run through their table. Also if anybody wants something else, I'm pretty good at drawing in autoCAD, I'll draw whatever anyone wants. No charge for any drawings I do, keeps me out of trouble if I'm working. I've made everything from welcome signs to trash can enclosures.
    Thanks for all the replies.

No worries on using the logo as long as you're not profiting from it.

hmmm.... maybe Myke could sell them through the forum store? I'd be willing to buy a couple of logo hangers and I'd like Myke to be rewarded for his creativity and would be happy to pay a little on top to go towards the forum?

    Nice work on the cutouts!

Is there a clean picture of the logo anywhere? I would like to do it in wood and hang it in my shop.
I do not wish to be disturbed - but I can't help it!
