New Guy, which end is the HEAD end of the Hennesy or does it matter

I have a Hennsey Expedtion asym zip, I have slept out in a couple times now, I have a feeling I am sleeping in it wrong, maybe it doesn't matter, anyone know
I have been using it so that the zipper entrance would be on my left side as I lay in the Hammock, Is this right?

I have been using this hammock since 2010 and have slept in it both ways with no problems. Try having your head end a little lower then the foot end, it will feel more comfortable and you won't be sliding down.

Really the zipper is not right by your head? You have to reach up over the wall of fabric to get to the zipper pull?

Sorry OP looks like my advice was wrong.

I always laid in a HH exp like OutandBack described with zipper left. I happen to have one set up on the balcony right now, and can confirm directions indeed say zipper right, feet right, head left. Having tried both ways it appears it works equally well either orientation to accommodate a predominantly left or right hand side sleeper. A nap almost snuck up on me it was so comfortable.

It shipped with the double zipper at the official "foot end", but it is easy to slide both zippers to the intended head end and reach them easily from the head left position.

I have yet to figure out what all the extra O-rings, and mitten hooks connected by a length of shock cord are for that come inside the hammock. The ridgeline organizer and mitten hooks on the ridgeline are easy to figure out, but there are a couple other attachment points and pieces of hardware that leave me scratching my head.

I believe that cord is for holding a pad in place if need be. i use the o-ring as a ref point on my shoulder position. The text book on this is to have the o-ring between your shoulder and your elbow. i find it most comfortable close to my elbow which requires about a 6 inch lift on the foot end.

I've tried both ways, it seems zipper right is better ,of course I have the mod 4 from 2q so it has zippers on both sides. Highly recommend this option.
