Accessory lines ( Guy Lines & Tie outs )

I've seen and heard good things about Lawson Reflective Cord & zing it/lash it but neither are available here in Canada as far as I know..
I have seen Nite Ize Reflective Rope on Amazon 50ft for $11 ; has anyone tried this rope? I haven't found specs on width, strength or weight so I'm a little leery to order it without some recommendation.

Here is a video I did with some info on reflective cord. I like the stuff and will be rigging it with tarpworms on my superfly. You can check out Dutchwaregear.com for more info. Happy new year.

    Google is your friend.

"Made of sturdy nylon with a special reflective strip woven into it that reflect brightly when light is shined onto it"

    15240.00mm x 2.50mm x 2.50mm

Maybe they also recommend using it on your camo tarp. ;-)

Skinny, stretchy saggy nylon line. Not really something I have room for in my kit but YMMV. ;-)

+1 on the niteize. If my eno profly came with it, I would have my perfect system.

For guy line and tie-outs, you shouldn't need anything over ~50lbs of breaking strength, so, I believe the Nite-Ize should be fine. I use braided mason's line so this will be my weak point to save my tarp from tearing and it's breaking point is less than that.

To the matter of reflectivity of that cord, I cannot speak of. Sorry.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Manufacturer's website...search for arborist near Russell, Ontario...arborist use this stuff as throw lines. Even if the stores don't stock what you are looking for, they are official Samson retailers, and can order what you want from manufacturer.

Thanks, I see a couple aborist places down near Toronto but as usual CDN shipping is not worth it, plus I don't need to get a full 180' of zing-it.. I'll probably do like as you mentioned and just buy from dutch.

Thanks, I did see the site but I must have missed the dimensions.. I didn't realize it was all nylon, the Lawson's is a Hybrid Blend of Nylon, Polyester, and Dyneema so I'll probably go for that.
