    What Diameter for Line Locks?

Howdy, all. What size line do the line locks on Dutch's site accept? I've got some 1.8 mm line I'd like to use them with. Thanks for the help.

Lawson glowire works perfect at 2.0mm, I'd imagine that 1.8mm will be fine too, but hollow braid line will slip because it compresses.

1.8 works good. Abrasive like like the Lawson reflective cord work better.

Don't forget the slippery half hitch if you have concerns about security.

I was playing with these among other hardware this morning, looking at what works with the braided mason line. I found the lineloc3 works well on mason line with a second turn around the bar.

Will they work with shock cord? 1/8? 3/32?

Yes, I have some on my backpack for compression and I haven't noticed slipping, I think it might be 1/8. HG quilts have them on the corners and they work well to hold the quilt up with 3/32, but slip without really pulling. I guess for a tarp you'd need to use 1/8.
