    Newest DIY Hammock

I call it the Executive and will carry it on business trips in my carry on.

It's the biggest one I've made at 10.5x5 feet. It has 4 foot tree huggers, 10 foot 7/64" Amsteel leads, and Speed Hooks.

The SRL is one I originally got from whoopieslings.com because it will fit in the hook with the 2.2 mm Slick Line Dyneema continuous loops.

The hammock body is 1.6 ounce HyperD, which is very nice.

Looks good, Mike. I love the HyperD fabric and the black certainly looks nice. What method did you use to gather the ends as it appears you used the W method on one end (left side in the picture)?

Yeah Buddy! I don't normally get excited about fabric, but I can't believe the strength of this HyperD. I want to make a double layer to see how that comes out and the weight savings involved. While not an ultralighter type person, I do love the space savings of non bulky stuff and this material rolls up into a very small package compared to my other non HyperD 1.6 (which is 3+ times heavier).

Hope Kyle doesn't run out of this stuff.

Mike - are you going to put a bug net on? I've been running behind on all things that matter, but I'm working on putting the net on mine now - along with other bells and whistles. You should get a matching tarp too -

Thanks, Red. I ran a continuous loop through an end channel.

Probably not, Vince. This is a lounging/nap/reading hammock.

One of the things I like is that Dutch's tree huggers use a stiff material, which will stay inside the Dutch Clip well.
