Got a chance to head out to the San Pedro Parks Wilderness section of the Santa Fe National Forest in NM for a few days. Temps were a warmer than expected, but that just made the trip more interesting.

Hey there...I live in Corrales NM, and I started the whole hammock camping this year. San Pedro Parks is just about near perfect...its so close and has a lot to offer. Looks like you had a great trip.
Hi neighbor! The Parks are great this time of year for hiking. I'll be heading out there next month for the full winter experience. I just put together a snow pulk I'm itching to try out.

Snow in Georgia would be something--really adds more challenge to hammocking.
