Does anyone know how strong the double sided cuben fiber tape Dutch offers is? I am trying to figure out what it will take to DIY a Cuben Fiber tarp.

I don't know about the tape, but I'm pretty sure I saw Dutch say somewhere he doesn't recommend using his Cuben for a tarp. I may be wrong, or you may already know this. Good luck with the project!
Cuben Fiber is sold by the half yard and are all 54 inches wide. This is the ultimate lightweight DIY material for skin, tarps, stuffsacks, rain skirts and more. It is tough light, and waterproof. I am carrying 2 weights;
.51 ounce per sq yard is for gloves, stuff sack, and tarps
1.3 ounce per yard is for tarp reinforcements and back packs.

VG have you sourced straight from CT and how does the pricing compare to Dutch, zpacks, and other?
The tape and part number is straight from Cubic Tech. It will create a bond stronger than the cuben fiber. It is used for tarps and the point I was making about tarps is if you are going to make a tarp buy your Cuben fiber from Cubic Tech as it is more cost effective.
Peace Dutch
