    KY->RRG->Dec20th

    I had another weekend free up so I am going to head out and get some more miles in.
    Meet at the Natural Bridge Shell at 11am.
    Weather Forecast:

    40's to high 20's both days

    Saturday snow

    Sunday windy.

    Saturday for the day hike we will head to Auxier Ridge Trail. Depending on the groups speed we may have time to head toward Double arch. The trail starts on the ridge then half way through there is a stair case descent then a challenging incline back to the parking lot. Depending on which routes we take this can be a 4 to 6 miler. With carrying just a day pack we should easily be able to do a 2 to 4 mile an hour pace. After the descent there will plenty of opportunities to collect water.
    Day hikers they can leave when we return to the parking lot.

    Overnighters depending on the time after the day hike ends we will either head back on to Auxier Ridge Trail to camp about a mile in or head to Sheltowee Suspension Bridge Trail Head to grab a site before the sun falls.

    Sunday depending on attendees schedule we can hike some more toward silver mine arch or head back to the cars.

    I'd love to go, but I'll be travelling home for the holiday's.

    Let me know before Thursday if you can. This will be more hiking to camp than a base camp. They are calling for snow I don't know how that will effect your travels. I go out there pretty regularly so if you can't make a trip there will be another.

    Yeah think I'm gonna wait for slightly better weather. Hope to meet yall up there one day. Been interested in hiking that area, would be nice to go with some people that know it pretty well.
