    MJ dimensions?

Can anyone tell me the distance between the perimeter tie outs on the side of the MJ tarp?

I've all but decided on this tarp for my 11' hammock, but I want to see if it will work with a net tent when camping with my son in the desert. I thought a narrower tarp would work, but the net tent is 40" task sloping down to 12" walls. It's 52" wide and 86" long. If I'm doing my math right the edge would be too narrow. The MJ should be wide enough, but I want to make sure it's long enough with the car cut from ridgeline to perimeter tie out.

    Thanks for the help.

I think I measured what you were asking: about 62.5" from top ridge line to a corner tie out. I just measured a straight line, not following the material exactly because of the cat cut.

The accurate measurement didn't come from the first photo; just showing the general area I measured:

I got 89" corner to corner on the long side. 64" between each corner on the short side while set up. I had it at a fairly steep angle how I usually set it up; guessing 30°.

No problem! I'm sure it can vary a bit if stretched tighter, but probably not enough to matter

BTW...I decided to go with the Superfly. Then there's no concern about coverage over the net tent, or my hammock. Thanks Mark 6 and others that replied to my previous tarp threads.

That's always a good choice. I have both. Didn't use the SF yet, but it will always come along in the winter and when I know it will be rainy.
