Ah yes, lots of information to fill out and research to be done! I'm a long time reader / visitor of the forum and finally joined so I can add my 2 cents from time to time. I guess I'm a hybrid camper; I enjoy the hammock camping, minimalist camping, the sleeping on the ground with just a wool blanket, tent camping with my niece and nephew, hiking the trails, a little bit of everything I guess. My favorite lately has been stealth camping (aka wild camp aka solo camp) because of the scouting involved and planning.
Like most people here I have many redundancies with gear for different conditions. I get a kick out of making some of my own gear and modifying things to work the way I need it. Testing new stuff is always a must. I've done a couple hangs with some of the guys of the forum so I'm familiar with some of the cool stuff you guys do.
I'm sure I'll get more specifics up over time but for now I'm looking forward to the vast amount of information available
