Must be hit or miss then. I live 10 miles northwest of there and have to use a network extender at home. Otherwise I can't even get enough signal to text. I spend a lot of time on the east side of the porcupine wilderness and can't ever seem to pick anything up. The lake though isn't my section so maybe it has better exposure, I'm not over there much.

Could be I have a I phone not sure if that makes any difference. At both the winter and fall hang I had 2 to 3 bars and 3G most the time

It depends on where you are on the lake. Just spent a weekend there two weeks ago. We camped on the north end of the lake near the start of the creek. Had zero signal most of the time. Once in awhile you get a bar. So don't count on service.

Also, I've got some Ice Fishing gear, but having moved here from the deep southern US, I have almost no idea exactly what I'm doing. If others are going to be doing some ice fishing, I'd be more than happy to bring my gear and learn. :-)

Thanks for offering the carpooling... hopefully some people will be able to carpool with you as the parking lot is small and if you don't get a spot there or along the road, it's a bit of a hike from the other parking areas.

Please bring your ice fishing gear... at least the auger as I don't think anyone else has volunteered one and it'll help tremendously in getting our water.
