This will be a challenging 10+ mile two day adventure. The pace will be at a 2 mile an hour pace which should land us at camp with 2 hours of daylight left. The temps will be low and always a chance for rain, sleet, and snow. Also the creek water is just above freezing make sure you have the right foot wear for crossings. On our way out we will need to drop a vehicle at Koomer ridge to act as a shuttle back to the starting point. We will regroup at trail heads, road crossings and trail junctions during the hike. I will also bring along my walkie talkies.
