Would a Phoenix be close to "full length" on a five foot person?

I've got the short Incubator for myself which is fine, but my wife is 5/0 and was wondering how much coverage she would have if we decided to order the Phoenix? Any way to save some bulk and bread simultaneously works for me.

    Thanks!

A phoenix is 52" compared to the 60" of a 5' foot tall person. Probably covers just above the shoulders to lower calf/ankle. This would be a good time to get out the tape measure.

I'm 5-6 and I was surprised to find that the Phoenix goes from the base of my skull to almost my heels when I lay diagonally. I'm really happy with this setup, particularly with my flamethrower booties.

I think she would probably be covered quite well.

I am a 6'2 side sleeper and when I'm on my side i sleep with knees at about a 45 degree angle from the hip leaving only my ankles and feet outside the bottom of my phoenix.

I would think that it would come close due to the fact that it goes from the neck/shoulders down. Your head is usually more than 8 inches...

I always wondered about this. But let's say someone is 65" and a UQ is 60". Does that mean they're OK? 5" isn't much but I figured the pressure from the neck, legs/feet, or both would cause a gap and let air in. Or annoy the heck out of you with that shock cord pressing into your body all night.

On the diagonal I am covered from 1/2 my head to just above my ankles. I am 5'4". To deal with gaps I use minibiners like triangle thingys. They let you move on the diagonal. If I roll on my side to semi fetal I am covered entirely.

I'm 5'6" and my phoenix 20 seems to cover me from my ankle up to the middle of my head. I use a mummy style sleeping bag as a TQ for right now and figure the foot box area I get from that will help keep my feet fairly warm so I feel completely insulated from head to toe with my phoenix and have no use for a full length UQ as far as I can tell. Saved some money and some weight, finally being short paid off!

One more thing to add: the difference between, say, 10° and 50° is HUGE especially when it comes to cold feet.

So if we're talking a 0° vs 40° Phoenix, there's a wider margin for error with the latter. It would be easy to supplement with a pad or extra clothing in 40°+ weather if you had to, which is "warm" weather for me.
