Hawaii Questions - Kalalau & Volcano National Park

Some friends and I will be heading to Hawaii in late November.

I was wondering if I could get some advice from Hawaii residents or previous visitors.

Kalalau Trail

We were looking to spend 2 nights here. One at Kalalau Beach and one at Hanakoa.
Are these camp sites hammock-able?
Are the trees slim pickings?
I was hoping to outfit the 3 of us with hammocks, but could switch to tents if necessary.

Volcano National Park

Here I am less certain on where we plan to camp. Anyone have experiences to share? Any campgrounds that were particularly good or bad for hammocks? Anything in particular you loved and would recommend?

I'm going to Kaua'i at the end of December. I was planning to hammock on the Kalalau Trail. Seems like there will be plenty of trees.
