Dang...I'd love to go but can't make this one. Broke my left wrist on Nov 1 and in a cast up past the elbow. Gotta let this thing heal right for the winter hang. Double dang.....just got another backpack from Goodwill I wanted to test out too.

The rain turned to big, wet snowflakes a little while ago here. So I hear ya - I think paddling this time of year would be rather miserable unless you had the proper gear (wetsuit maybe?), which I most certainly do not.
Besides, I need the exercise that the hike in will give me.

Upon consideration, it'll be logistically (and gastronomically) better to set the cost for this at $20 per person, all inclusive. This will cover:
sites
all meals except lunches
firewood
In the past we've always been a little more free for all, and it usually ends up costing everyone at least this much, some people a lot more, and things are chaotic and there's way too much food wasted and too many sites booked but not needed.
This way, we'll make sure major meals are taken care of and people don't have to worry about what to bring or how to pack it in, that we have enough wood to keep warm, and that the sites are paid for (or reimbursed for, Blackfoot).
If this is an issue or changes anyone's interest, please shoot me a PM to discuss.
Awesome! The less I have to think about the better. I like my time in the woods to be entirely non-thinking.

Did anyone from here book site 2 for that weekend?
Both nephews will be back in town from college. We are supposed to do some work on both of their trucks over the weekend but that won't stop me from making it out there. More likely just make me an night time arrival.
I will bring wood and wagon(s) to the No Motor Vehicles Beyond This Point sign. I know some people drive all the way in from Batsto but I won't do that.
Need to touch base with the boys and give them a heads up. Not sure if they will actually make it out, figure they will probably catching up with H.S. friends but I will find out.
Have sherpas, will travel...
Triangles, it's all about the triangles.

I reserved site 4 but let's not reserve any more sites unless numbers change.
