I'm glad you saw this. For all that don't know Hikingdad really came up with this design and also the titanium bridge hammock ends. I have been playing around with these for probably over a year, but always knew it would make going out with ones spouse and children a little easier and more comfortable. Now that I get here release Hikingdad, feel free to come up with your next ingenious idea.

Dutch, will the holes in the double whoopie hooks, and bridge ends accept a 1/4-20 bolt? (like from a camera tripod)

Looking at using the Mountainsmither trekker hiking pole in place of a traditional spreader bar.

The pole holes are .250 for the hook and .280 for the Ti bridge ends. According to this it is very tight on the hook.http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...electedIndex=7

lol you're going to make me blush Seriously though, you took my idea and made it something actually beautiful!

And as for another idea... During the last group hang Algonz and I were talking about how it'd be really cool to have a speed hook, but instead of the normal hook, you had a carabiner on the end so that us bridge hammock folks could use it

Simply awesome. However as you know Dutch I have twins. Would this work with three hammocks? Me in the middle and the boys on the side. I'd have to custom order a HUGE tarp from someone but structurally could it be done with strong enough trees. Now that would be the greatest thing ever of all time.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Howdy lazy river! I would put the boys on the double setup and put them above your hammock. At least for now since they're small.
