Yes.... There are some young Boy Scouts that need gear.....
Please follow Mr. Shug's lead and give to the youth of the world...
We must teach the youth how and why to keep the wild - wild....

SHUG.....I want the "coffee krisp" the pack and other equipment is needed for the young hikers.....

My son gave his out grown Scout stuff to younger Scouts that really need it....

Single parents can have a hard time getting supplies for a kid.....I would hope that the whole hammockforms community would be more than willing to help out in their local areas wit the youth of this world that have the want to go out into the woods....

Not replacing...I got my gear all set so just weeding out as the old stuff just lays there looking sad.

I'm thinking about ending this contest early due to the over-whelming response.....537 comments so far. Getting a bit numb to it all))))))
At this point I've compiled around 27 folks in the running based on what my gut tells me.
Will more than likely add an annotation to the video saying that it ends today..........

I did call it......and have my winner selected. It is a 14 year old scout from Florida from a low income family. Hope his woods time gets a wee bit better.

Like many of us out there in the land of hammocks, we all have learned from you Shug. I just wonder how many people have coffee in the hammock; chatter on saying things like "whew buddy;" etc. Learning about hammock camping is one thing, but doing a good thing for someone in need may just be one of your best lessons yet. I know you didn't do this for kind words, but great job. Keep those ideas/videos coming. AWESOME job.
