I've not tried these, but I have wondered why no one has developed a cleat head for a stake. When I was in the merchant marine we would use these to tighten and secure lines and I suspect you could do the same with your guy lines.

It might be possible to just JB weld a flea or fly on top of a gutter nail or something similar. If your stakes have a string loop on them you could put the flea there.
Others have been adding fleas to the tarp side of things which potentially lets you reach out and adjust things from inside away from the rain if needed.

I use a marlin spike hitch on my stakes, the stake being the spike. The other end of the guyline is permanently attached to the tarp. I can't imagine a faster setup.

Me neither. These speed stakes might be quick setup, but at 1.7 oz. per stake, your hiking speed would suffer.

I like a pile hitch over the MSH for stakes. I'd bet its slightly faster though we're really splitting hairs there.
I showed it to my friend recently who responded, "I don't know what you just did, it appeared to involve magic or sleight of hand".
