JRB Sierra Stealth, MadTree Core Hammock, Ontario Knives Spec Plus 12 Tanto 6

    #1 - Jacks-R-Better Sierra Stealth Top Quilt

Size: Long (86 by 52 in)
    Fill Power: 900

I purchased from flight_chick here in April 2013 and have used it and love it. This is an awesome quilt, I just don't find myself ever wearing it since I'm paranoid of damaging it around camp. This has the tie off cord instead of a snap at the top. I usually didn't even build the foot box but just cinched the cord tight and draped it. It has always been stored uncompressed in a smoke/pet free home. Comes with the original bag, the paperwork, and the stuff sack.

This quilt looks almost new and has no flaws since I babied it like crazy. It's true to rating, taking you to about 40* F, though I have gone to 32* with my 0* UQ below me and been fine in the same sleep clothes I always wear to keep oils off my gear.

The Jack's don't offer the 900fp as an option anymore and it weighs in 17.5 ounces so an ounce lighter than the current version.

I paid $200USD and I am asking $195USD shipped CONUS. For my Canadian brethren, I'll ship Canada Post, add $10, you know how it is.

I like it enough that if it doesn't sell at that price I'm fine keeping it, it's a great 3 season quilt here on the coast, but more like June, July, August, Sept. in the interior.

    Bought here on the forum.

Comes with suspension kit. I just wasn't a fan though the original owner liked it. I'm a gathered end guy and this bridge thing just isn't for me. I used it 2-3 times for afternoon naps.

Paid $60USD, asking $50USD shipped CONUS, Canucks add $5.

#3 - Ontario Knives Spec Plus Tanto 6

Had this knife for years. I've used it a few times but was always too heavy for my uses. This big a blade I would bring a hatchet or machete so it would go unused. I took it in to get sharped "professionally" hasn't been used since.

    Blade Length:6.00"
    Blade Thickness:3/16"
    Blade Hardness:53-58 HRC
    Overall Length:11.38"
    Blade Material:1095 H/C
    Handle Material:Kraton
    Carry Option:Combo Leather/Nylon Sheath

I paid $80CAD about 5-6 years ago here in Canada. Retails for $60USD, would let go for $40USD shipped CONUS. Again, Canucks add $10, because it's heavy.

I'm open to trades if there's something you want to part with for any of the above.

Thing's I want, a 40* Argon Burrow, Cuben Tarp w/ 11 or 12 foot ridgeline (lol, I know but I have to ask and I'm willing to pay for part of it if this happens), Mule Tape (100'), Dynaglide (100'), Snow Peak 600 ( or If someone has a heavy cover ti canteen...), Izula or Izula 2, or suggestions welcome.

    Thanks,

    Brady

I'll be tied up here in Canada for the week now so for the CONUS shipping it might be next week before I can ship at the latest. For Canadian, no delay.

So the Mad Tree is for someone 6'6" or under @265 lbs. max correct?

Ever use it with a spreader bar?

That sounds accurate for the limits. I'm 6'1" and it holds me up at 185lbs. I have tried it with a spreader and I prefer it over tying to three trees. Use small continuous loops to prussik to a stick, at least that's what I've done.

So, did you use it with a spreader bar or just as is? And, do you need to have 3 trees for the hammock? Thanks!

I tried both, didn't like looking for three trees so used a stick as a spreader bar. Only need two trees for that method.

I'll leave these up another couple days and if they don't go I'll keep them. Any takers before I withdraw?
