    Hammeck Netty

Ive had the Hammeck Netty for about a week now and have slept in it every night indoors and outside last night.
I must say that it has met and exceeded my expectations. This is not just a great value for the money type hammock (although it is a great value). It is what I would consider to be a top of the line hammock regardless of the price.
I ordered the 10 ft. argon 1.6 SL, head right, feet left, with whoopies.
It is crazy comfortable, and a nice flat lay. The bugnet can be stowed in the lil mesh sack that's hung on the RL. Even though I didn't need it last night (it was 35 deg), I kept it zipped up all night and it stays up and away from your face. But there are 2 D rings provided to tie out if you feel the need. I actually just used the one on the foot end to tie my JRB quilt to so it always stayed under my feet. Really nice feature.
What else can I say? Its a great hammock and I sleep like a baby in it.....inside or out.

Just thought I would share cuz when I was researching Hammeck, I didn't find too much, so I figured I would throw this in there for those who might be interested in the future and do a search. Highly recommended....you wont be disappointed.

I'm a Hammeck fan! It seems like they're gaining some traction now and it won't be too long until people start to recognize what a quality product they make at such a fair price

Thank you both for the kind compliments! We haven't had much of an opportunity to get on the forums since the sale went live, so it was nice to discover this review during a short break!

    Thanks!

I just ordered a Netty and David was super responsive working through the options even as he was trying to get his sale going last Friday and Saturday AM. Hopefully they will get a lot of orders (just behind me in the queue )

I can't wait for my 11 ft. SL PolyD 1.4 Charcoal Grey hammock. Great price and great buying experience.

I just ordered a Netty last night as well-probably one of the last to get the sale so it may be a while before I see it. That's ok because the savings offset the shipping cost. This looks to be the best of all worlds-integrated net but the option to almost completely remove it when weather permits, light hammock, complete suspension plus stuff sack all for $130. I paid more than that for my HH and then went and bought snakeskins and a $36 suspension to complete it. Granted, this comes w/o the tarp, but the HH tarp is so small it's of very limited use. Just curious..when they say "Head to left of ridgeline" is that from your perspective laying in the hammock or looking down from above like an out-of-body experience?

Both... Sort of. It's your perspective laying in the hammock looking up OR your perspective looking down on yourself from above, but with your feet at the top of your frame of reference, and your head at the bottom. If you're standing and looking from above, but from the foot end, then lay as you visualize it would be opposite. Make sense?

I have had an 11 foot, DL Breezy for several months and I LOVE it. Very high quality and extremely comfortable for a fair price. Frankly, I have been amazed at their prices when stacked next to comprable hammocks from "big name" makers.
I also like the fact that the Meck brothers took the time to come out to the Hunger Hang, both to promote their product and just to share knowledge and generaly be helpful, whether or not the person they were helping had a Hammeck product or not. That is a good company there and one I can support.
My daughter and I just ordered an Envy each and are eagerly looking forward to their arrival. We got to see these beauties at the Hunger Hang and they really impressed me with their integrated bug net and cover. We also snapped them up now, while the "Peekaboo" feature is included, before it becomes a add on (pricewise) item.
I really think this will add to my winter camping capability and serve as a summer bug proof hammock.

That's not confusing at all. 😉

Just say "laying in the hammock" and leave it at that.
