Wink ViDEO: Art Loeb Trail with the Hickery Brothers PARTS 1, 2 & 3))))

Hickery and I got out for a 9 night hybrid trip this year....did the Art Loeb Trail http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Loeb_Trail then off to the Linville Gorge. both in good ol' North Carolina.
Art Loeb Trail threw us a few surprises......a real Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of a trail.
Real fun to get to spend some good times on the trail with an old friend. We have been friends for over 40 years.

Love the latest installation of the Hickery brothers saga. Had me laughing with you. A buddy and I hiked part of the Art Loeb several years ago. Did the section from the Blue Ridge Parkway clear to the north end. Absolutely loved Black Balsam Knob and the Narrows. Glad you got out there.Trying to figure out how you got off trail and it must have been at Ivestor Gap - if I remember there were all kinds of trails up there.
