You could use straps with the g clip, that's my plan

Ordered my pair of speed hooks. Oh you lucky americans! You will hold them in your hands in a couple of days. I'm from Germany and have to wait some weeks until they jumped over the pond.
I don't like the word "shipping". "Rocketing" would sound much better ;-)

Oh, i wouldn't worry too much about that. I ordered some dutch recently. It arrived in my mailbox in Germany six days after being shipped! But, I stayed below tax and import duties in value - meaning it hadn't too be worked by the Zoll.

I have to admit, it took me about half way through the video to realize what I was really looking at. When it did finally sink in, my wife gave me a bit of a strange look after I blurted out "Oh my god!!!" I love it. I'm going to need to order some here pretty soon.

Quoted from OP: "You could add this suspension to your $30 PolyD or ARGON hammock and have a total cost of $55 for a high quality hammock with a complete suspension."

I like the sound of this but I have a couple of questions:

What does the hook attach to at the hammock? As I understand it, these hammocks have a gathered end secured with a zip tie so something must be added to hook onto.

One of the options when purchasing a hook is a continuous loop. Is that to connect to the hammock to provide a place to hook to? If so wouldn't there be a lot of leftover length ie they would be too long? If not why are continuous loops offered as an extra?

The adutchable clips and the dutch clips are also offered as extras. Are these used to adjust the length of the tree huggers?

Sometimes I feel like I'm way beyond the curve or I haven't read something so I apologize if I'm being dim. In any case I hope the answers to these questions help others as well as me.

A continuous loop. The parts are listed in the description on his website.

Yes, for the adutchable clip you could also use a MSH (marlin spike hitch) and toggle. This is a no cost or nearly free option. The toggle can be just about anything 1/4-1/2" diameter to hold the knot. The Dutch clip is just to save you from passing the end of the tree hugger through the loop on the end. Watch the videos that accompany his products. They explain what they do.

You can put the loop around the end of the hammock with a larks head or if you want you can remove the zip tie and run it through there. The loop is what the Speed Hook attaches to and 8 inch is pretty standard. The larks head will take about 3 to 4 inches so you will have 4 inch loop off each end.
Dutch clips are just to hook around the tree and the Adutchable Clip is the same thing only adjustable. However I removed Adutchable Clips as an option this morning as it works with straps which have one loop and not with Huggers offered. You can still order then and straps and Adutchable clips separately.
