Hello - I just received a new hammock (gathered end) with a continuous loop through the channel - and it has a fixed ridgeline which was shipped rolled up rather than installed for what are now obvious reasons as it likely wouldn't have stayed put and is neater.

So in attaching I'm putting a descending ring on each continuous loop to attach whoopies which will also serve as a "terminus" of the continuous loop.

In attaching the ridgeline - which has two fixed loops on either end. I can see how to thread the ridgeline out the open end and loop it over the continuous loop - the question is do I just loop the fixed loop over the end of the continuous loop or make a small larks head over the end of the continuous loop? I've done a larks head but not sure if it makes a difference but the larks head seems slightly sturdier.
