Hi Everyone, I am taking a road trip to Miami, the Keys, and the Everglades in early December. I have about three weeks to mess around down there and I was interested in kayaking some trails in the Everglades. I have some basic kayaking experience, but I do not own a kayak. Does anyone have any experience and information on renting kayaks and what gear to take. Also, any recommendations on what trails to take for a 2-3 night excursion.

Check out http://www.swfkaa.com It is mostly a fishing forum, but I know some of those guys have been to the everglades several times. Plus, they are kayakers in the area. I am wanting to plan a trip down there, but something always seems to come up. Also, TOF is planning a trip in January/February. I am not sure if you were looking for company, and it sounds like the timing won't work out, but they would me another resource for info.
