    Argon .67 Fabric help?

Just purchased some Argon .67 from Dutch Wow fast shipping.
This stuff is super light I'm going to try my hand at top and under quilts my question may already have been answered but I cant seem to find it.

Which side of the argon is the inside and outside or does it matter/

    Shinny side in?
    or shinny side out?

    Thank you for the help.
    Thanks,
    Sam

Shiny side is the "wrong side". Always. Regardless of what fabric you are using.

Some fabric may not have a shiny side (untreated/un-calendared fabric). In this case any side is the "right side".

Thanks Boston, I did read that statement and that is what confused me .

So the shiny side goes on the inside ( hidden) is this correct?
    Thank you.
    Thanks,

I was wondering about this as well... thanks to those who answered.

Also, Argon 90 is the same, so that applies too if anyone is questioning.

So is it calendered on the shiny side and DWR treated on the non-shiny side? Just curious. I had assumed the shiny side was the side with DWR so I was planning on using it as the "outside" of the bottom of my UQ.

It is calendared on the shiny side. that is what makes it shiny. DWR is applied to both sides of ARGON 67 and 90

I had to google it so please correct me if I misunderstood, but calendaring is done by running fabric though a set of hot rollers to press/heat a finish such as the shine on argon?

Correct. The reason that's important to DIY quilt makers is that it helps reduce airflow (making the quilt more wind resistant) and flattens the fibers out, reducing the size of the interstices (making the fabric more downproof).

    Hope it helps!
