These took me about an hour each. Side gathers with some elastic sewn in and the hanging elastic is run along the end channels in both. fabric started out as 60" wide Blizzard Fleece from J's because it's on sale for $4/yard right now. 3 yards folded in half gives me just the right size. It ends up being about 58" long x about 50" wide. I folded right sides together and hemmed around the edges leaving the corners open, and one 8" opening on one side to turn it right side out. This fleece does have a right and wrong side, a blurry side and a clear side for the print. Sewed in the elastic at the long edges 16" in from each corner and sewed the channel after tacking down the elastic. Then sewed the end channels, threaded the elastic through and cleaned up the corners that I originally left open, as well as closed up the 8" opening. Overall, very easy and keeps the kids warm as we haven't turned the heat on yet; some mornings the house is down to about 60 by 6am.
