    Since i don't have a tape measure, and the biggest thing I have to measure with is a ruler, I'm just going to cut all 2600 feet into 1 foot sections and we can just count them out at the hang. You get a 100 pieces sir...and you get 150...

    The "no-knot tool" I mentioned is quite small - It's used for hollow-braid fishing lines and kite lines, but I've been able to splice 1/8" flat-braid spectra and 1/16" vectran with it, with some difficulty. Then, reading a post somewhere, I saw a mention of a Dritz "Loop Turner" that sounded like a larger version, so I ordered one. (Google "Dritz 647" for vendors.) Well, it got here, and it is, indeed, a giant "no-Knot tool," and it works great on 7/64" amsteel (gray) and the two smaller lines.

    I hope you are coming to the hang b/c I'd like to see them. I have been using thin welding rod with pretty good success. I will be bringing it to the hang also.
