Anything lighter than the buginator? Thanks
The Nanobuginator? Only 7 oz. There's also the HUG, but I'm not particularly enthralled with the idea of using my TQ as a form of bug protection.

my dream hammock bug sock weighs in at 236g (8.3oz) which is lighter by a small amount, i like that i can just slide it back into my bishop bag when not in use, and leave it all attached. the problem is that by doing it this way, it's bulky. i'm also shopping for lighter solutions, but i want something i can leave attached and stow or flip back somehow so it's not always in the way when not in use, such as in chair mode at camp, or when there aren't bugs out.
My DIY UL bug net is 5.2 ounces. It is Fronkey style with an open bottom and open head end with pockets and CF tabs on the corners. That means I can weigh the head end with pebbles in the pockets or sticks through the tabs.
It's made of Nanoseeum and has been soaked in Permethrin. I cut 6" off the bottom because it was not needed. It works great!

I have used a head bugnet. Must be around and ounce. Works well if you are covered up otherwise.
