Make a gear request here for MAHHA Nov. Hang

OK, can you tell I'm thinking about MAHHA hang a lot already? I've already made a request for a Whoopie Sling instructor and Dutch answered. (yeah) I thought I'd start a thread where people could put in a request for specific gear they'd like to see up close and personal. Maybe someone will bring it if you put in a request. We can do a show and tell before the pot luck on Sat.

I'd like to see any of the Aarn packs.

I'll bring my ULA Conduit pack if anyone is interested in checking out size of Conduit. I'd like to see any of the other ULA packs to get a feel for the volume.

Other favorite gear I have if anyone is interested is the Exped 9 Deluxe, JRB No Sniv, Western Mountaineering Summerlite bag, Women's REI Flash Pack 65 (that I decided to keep and am growing fonder of all the time.)

My Blackbird double 1.1 with webbing will be at the hang site.

And remember Jacks will be there if you have special requests for seeing their gear.

    Great idea, HappyCamper!

I'll bring a ULA Catalyst, ULA Rain Wrap, ULA H20 Amigo filter, StickPic. Oh, and a 5lb REI down bag, unknown model.

Ever used Pacerpoles trekking poles? Chris Townsend turned me on to them, I'll have mine.

Also, bring coffee; when I meet you, I want you to have some personality. hint: see her signature.

hey--I'm a big fan of my Pacerpoles.

It was a challenge and a half though to figure out how to use them as spreader bars in my DIY bridge hammock. That handle!

Figured out a solution in the end

I'd like to see cook kits, especially home grown alcohol stove based systems.

Knotty, I'm still lighting my alki stove with my fire steel. Thanks for teaching me that trick at the last hang.

I'd also be interested in seeing any of the ULA packs or any of the new Warbonnet gear.

I'm bringing my WB Mambajamba tarp, HHULBA with zipper mod and hopefully some DIY projects I'm working on. I might-even cave in and purchase a blackbird by then .

Glad you found that helpful. I don't like getting burnt so a fire steel keeps the fingers well away from the fuel.

Bump. The hang's getting close. Any gear you want to see? I still want to see an Aarn Pack and now Mule's got me wanting to see a wheeled pack too. Darn you, Mule! Not that I'd ever get one. (Never say never!) I just wanna make fun!
