I like using paracord with a truckers hitch at one end and a biner at the other. I’ve found it works the best for me since it’s got quite a bit of stretch, which while not good for hammock hanging...

Has anyone had any luck with using a Mylar sheet with a pad or underquilt for when the temperature drops lower than expected?

Edit: Also, I imagine I would put it on top of my pad but still...

Update: I ended up going with a pad! I now have a Klymit Hammock V Insulated pad, which I’ll be testing this week (and likely tweaking my system as a result)!
