And I could throw in the extra 15 bucks that it costed you to get the sewn version.

So I figured this is probably a long shot but what the heck. I have a HG burrow 20 long with snap footbox that has been used on maybe 4 overnighters. Not much at all. Bought it in december of 2014. I...
I haven't. I don't have a scale, but hammockgear.com says the long version weighs 23.39 oz
Price Drop 220
Yes it was bought in October of 2014. Has the argon shell and water resistant down
Yes it is still for sale
It doesn't have any overstuff. I updated the post with some pictures
I'm selling my hammock gear incubator 20 Long. Dark Olive Green outside/Black interior. Been used around 4 times but in like new condition. Nothing wrong with it. Stored hanging in closet. No pets or...

The top quilt uses then for a pad attachment and the under quilt uses them to hook onto quilt hooks (Dutchware gear) which keeps the quilt in place on the hammock
I'll take the patagonia jacket.
Welcome from Cleveland, TN!
For those that have built one of these, how much did all the materials cost? (Assuming I have all the tools)
Man I know there used to be but I just looked everywhere and came up short. Sorry man. If I missed something someone will surely point it out to us though. I agree that is a good idea.
Edit:...
Exactly what I needed. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks Gravity! I'm going to try and set my hammock up inside now because I don't have trees in my yard.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Glitchjunkie would you recommend this over the 40 if i already have a 20?
I couldn't find a post dedicated to the differences of these two fabrics that expressed the preferences of people who have used both so I figured I would make this thread because I think it would be...
+1 on the reflectix
Awesome! I enjoyed it.
Sweet! Yeah I love my incubator. I'm probably going to buy a burrow this weekend if HG does a black friday sale. If they do you might want to think about going ahead and picking up that 40 now haha.
Thanks! appreciate the feedback. That's exactly what I was looking for
Ok so I am looking for a tutorial on one of the dutch hammocks. It doesn't really matter which one because they are the same dimensions. I just wanted to make sure I could do it before ordering the...
Ahhh I need one of these so bad. No trees in my yard. I think I'm gonna break down and make one if I can find the time.
I'm 6'4" and need the long but if I was 6'1" i'd go with the regular. You sleep diagonally so if I am doing the geometry right in my head the length of the quilt diagonally exceeds the actual...
Wow so many of these pictures are awesome!
That makes sense. And from the sounds of AdventureMyk that's a nice pillow! Here's a video of the HG showing how much it compresses in case you haven't seen it. It does look like it compresses a bit...
Really Cool. I love the colors. I might have to try that combo if I ever get another one.
I Don't know about the aeros but are you set on an inflatable pillow? Hammock gear sells a down pillow that would definitely be warm enough. It only weighs 3 ounces so is practically the same weight...
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I will have to try this because I have experienced the slipping with prussiks as well
That's really cool. Thanks for posting!
Wow thats sweet haha. Try it! but I would get really thick material because weight obviously won't be an issue.
Awesome! Thanks
The burrow should be 20.2 oz. The incubator should be 22.0 (Reg)/ 22.8 (Long). The ridgeline should normally by 83% of the hammock length, which would be 9'4" making the ridgeline about 7'9". But...
Good point! if only I were handy with a needle haha. That's a great skill to have.
Thanks for the link! Yeah those look like great quilts but they seem to be a little more expensive so I was thinking about just going with HG if they have a black friday sale this year. The UGQ might...
Awesome! Yeah let me know how that goes. I checked those out as well. They seem to be great quilts.
Yeah I think this is what I will do as well. I figure if its warm enough for my feet to get hot in the footbox then its warm enough to vent them outside of the footbox. Thanks for the feedback!
Ahhhh the debate continues. It seems to be 50/50 with snaps and sewn footboxes, which is okay. I guess I'll just have to try them both and see what I like. I'll probably start out with sewn due to...
Also I meant to ask: has anyone had any trouble with the snaps pulling out of the argon on the burrow?
Ok so I just sold my sleeping bag. I am in the market to get my first top quilt and I've been looking at all the different options. I think I might be settled on the Burrow 20 but I am not sure. Does...
+1 to dutch's advice. If you are feeling generous there was a new member that posted on here the other day that he did not like the whoopie slings he just bought and was open to a more simple setup....
Awesome! Great deals
I'm in the same situation. I keep reading so many different opinions. But overall the majority seem to value sewn for winter quilts so I believe I'm going to go with the sewn for my 20 and then if I...
Just saw where the post in front of mine suggested the same thing. My bad haha
