Correct. Seam Grip SIL, previously known as Sil Net is what you want to use on your tarp.
Benji
Stingers are the perfect piece for any tarp. I've used 15' reflect it just for bigger trees.
Benji
I agree. There are only 3 season quilts, sleeping bags & tents. Spring-summer-fall or fall-winter-spring.
A four season bag & tent? You'll die in the summer, not enuff ventilation & the bag is...
I took your question to be about the Dutch Biners https://dutchwaregear.com/product/dutch-biners/
These are what I would suggest using.
Not the Titanium Ridge line Biner...
You blew the dirt off first?

I made a loop of orange reflect-it for my keys. A true test of durability. I haven't had any problems.
Inside. If the wind/rain start blowing in, I don't have to go "outside" the tarp to close my doors.

I'll comment but I got nothing. I'm not familiar with either of those. Sorry

I use the term "cost efficient" to describe items that have a lower price point but still maintain some quality. Cheap is when they pull out all the stops & create a bargain basement product that...
Bump to the top. I know July isn't the time to be thinking of winter quilts, but it'll be cold before you know it!

What's the weight of this netting? I'd find it hard to justify any weight saving over a 1.0 or 1.1 oz fabric hammock at that price.

I've had splatter once. Over a peagravel tent site. Water was pooling so the rain rolling off my tarp hitting the standing water is what allowed the splatter. My tarp was set kinda high, but rain was...
Yes, your doomed. Just click the "checkout" button & get it over with.
Welcome to the addiction.

Correct. There's no need to, but I find its a easy way to handle the extra length & keep the straps from laying in the dirt. Otherwise, I'll bundle up the excess with a hair tie.
Benji
That's awesome! How many tarps have you made? Seem like every other week you debut another.
I always wrap at lest twice if I have the available length. I use 8-10 foot straps.

I've got 6 foot lash-it on the corners & have 2 spares for the pull outs. I have used the spares to extend my range for "porch mode". Shock cord for the doors.

That's just >30 minutes south of me. I work most weekends so I miss out on the group hangs. I'll see if I can check it out, maybe during the week.
That's like my alter ego "Matt" I even use "Benji" at work. Somebody calls me "Matt" it just sounds weird.

Yep. Bury that fraggle & be done. Frayed ends just make it easier to remove strands.

I simply tied a second knot ⅛ inch from the first knot on the drawcord for the foot end of my double ended stuff sack. One knot, head. Two knots, feet. The stuff sack never comes off the hammock,...

I prefer this gather also, I think it tighten up the sides a bit. Or I could be imagining that, either way. When my Chameleon gets here I'll try it out as is but will probably change it.

I'll regret it till it gets cold enuff to use it, then I'll love having it.
Finished. You made it too easy to add more, now I've got a overcover coming with my bug free chameleon.
I waited 58 hours for this lol, cool picture
All of the above - but remember, insulated items only trap the heat coming off the user. Think of them as a thermos. Hot liquids stay hot, cold stays cold. You said you were hypothermia cold. The...

The taffeta lacks the ripstop, making it slightly less then .67 oz/yard. Looking for dependable, stay with the ripstop. My 2¢.
