Did you have to use any type of pad in the foot box?
Like your style. Just Subscribed. Thanks for posting.
I have the same problem using a pad. I cant keep it in place and end up cold. Still using it for now, but an UQ is my next purchase.
Its worth it to me. My back thanks me every time I spend the money for lighter gear.
You can pick up a nice Topo Map at the visitor center. I think it was around $8.00
Great Report. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Just subscribed. Thanks.
Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for the report.
Wow! Close call. I'm glad everyone is okay. My Dad used to say, I would rather be lucky than smart. I think you are both.
Hello from E-town. I have had the same thing happen. Maybe its a Ky thing. I haven't had any problems with getting any drips, even if I stay in Porch mode all night.
Love the Video. You Guy's picked a great Weekend too Hang. I'm sure you are having a good time. Looking forward to seeing a Trip Report.
Glad you made it out Mate. Even a short trip is better than no trip at all.

Welcome Tim. Glad to have you here. I love the Netherlands, so beautiful and clean. I was in Nijmegen for the big Road March a few years ago and I fell in love with the place and the People.
Wow! Great job! Very beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Someone actually screwed hooks into a tree. Shacking my head here. People amaze me.
Nice pics. It is a Beautiful Country. I spent a Week in Nijmegen a few years ago doing the 100 mile March. Didn't get to Camp, but still had a great time.
Love this one!
Same here. But I get confused pretty easy.
Gota love a campsite with a picnic table and lots of trees. Thanks for posting.
Enjoyed your Video. Thanks for posting.
I have to back out too. Going to the Deer Camp that Weekend.

Fingers Crossed. Thanks!
Congratulations on your accomplishment. Great Report. I learned a lot from it. I'm planning a section hike from Damascus to Waynesboro in 2016. This thread helped me nail down some kit choices....
I can do that.
Beautiful Pic. Thanks for posting.
116906 Im not sure how well this will work, but here is my attempt to upload the map.
I always take the time to replenish any supplies I used up, air everything out. Shake out my entire Kit . I do all this almost immediately after I shower. I guess the Military instilled that...
I did a day trip near there this spring. I cant remember if I hiked through that Camp Ground or not. I just dug out my map, and Koomer Ridge looks very promising as far as things to see. There is...
Outstanding!
I agree. Even the description in the link says heavy off road traffic on Weekends.
I like it! This one has my Vote.
I would need an UQ for sure. Just haven't been able to put the funds together yet. If we can get a definite date locked down, I could rent one of UGQ's for a weekend. I've been wanting to try one...
BSF in KY sounds good to me. I'm up for bout anything in KY, as long as its not super cold in Nov. I'm still working on getting a cold weather Kit together.
Mammoth Cave is nice also.
I would be interested in doing a Fall Group Hang.
Have too pull my name from the list. Family issues have came up. Hope ya'll have a great time.
Love your Videos. Have you ever came across an angry Racoon that didn't want to share the Tree? It happened to a Friend of mine climbing into his Tree Stand.
Looks great.. I am getting ready to try the same thing with a USGI bag I have laying around.
I like the muted colors too. But Ive been thinking about taking a trip during Deer season. I think the brightly colored gear would be the smart way to go during any type of hunting season.
Very nice. Thanks for the report.
Mammoth Cave is a great place to Camp. I just did a over night there and had a good time. There are plenty of trails to choose from, and they are well maintained. Here is the link to the trip report....
Thanks for Posting. I had no idea the approach trail was so long, and challenging.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I have been wondering about that too. Hopefully some of the Veteran Hangers will share there thoughts.
