It's head left feet right.
SOLD I have a 0° degree Wookie Full length UQ for sale "the regular size" I've used it once. No rips or tears .EXCELLENT CONDITION. Has only been stuffed in a sack twice. Once was the first time...
I really think it's a great hammock so far. this prototype, the bugnet was not completely removable nor was the fabric the same as what's coming out.
Hey thank you very much.
You are...
I totaly agree , you can't do a great review in that short of a period. SMD asked me to keep it at 2 minutes (first look) not a review.. i'm guessing I blew it in the 3 mintue range. The hammock...
Well, I'm not entertaining but I did ok on the short video first look I think. 3 minutes 14 seconds! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amZ2h6My2q0&t=14s
I honestly really like the hammock so far.
As I'm sure you guys probably know already about the Kickstarter campaign on the new "Ninox" by Sierra Madre that's been launched. I was fortunate enough to be able to get a first look at it. I was...
I agree, it's perfect for those nights where your to hot for a regular quilt but to cold for nothing at all.
Let me know how it turns out if you do.
So I have debated about posting this video on here because my sewing skills are lacking. Maybe it can help someone out or they can build off of it. I plan on doing am UQ next.

I watched Tom Willards video on this hang.. Looked like a fun time.
Roger that! You and I are are still supposed to share a campfire together aren't we?
Thank you. I'm always amazed at the generosity of people near the Pinhoti Trail. If it weren't for Brian, I would had to hike 4 miles in total road walk for water. Not my idea of fun after a 19 mile...
My recent trip report on section 3,4 and 5. Hit me up if you have any questions about any of the sections. Water was a little challenging on section 4. Also, some lessons learned on this hike.
...
yes sir still looking.
Still looking. Bump!
I'm still looking!
Want to buy a Mens size Medium Stoic hadron pullover hoody. Anyone have one they want to part with?
+1 on the Zpacks Nero!
It would be nice to go for a dip in those springs in the summer but I'm betting the crowds would be horrendous :scared:
What's up guys. Myself and some other hammock forums members got together again for our second annual Suwannee River hang and paddle. The start of the trip started off a little rainy so we had to...
Nice pics! I love Savage Gulf. Thanks for sharing.
I guess it would be . The Costoco quilt is only sewn around the edges so flex is easy along the span in the middle.
Pleanty of wiggle room, nothing gets compressed, stretched or anything.
it's absolutely possible and I have had no issues with down compressing or weakness in the integrity of the hammock. Granted this one was done with a Costco down throw but I don't see why you...
I'm super excited about owning one. I'm definitely looking forward to many nights in it.
If all goes according to plan I should be there.
Thank you Jeremy I appreciate it.
You won't...
I just received this package from Hangnout to put into the Airship sleep system. I've wanted one of these hammocks for a while now and just didn't pull the trigger. I figured I would do a quick video...
I've spent years trying to have these pictures of me obliterated from the internet, obviously, I have failed miserably.
Now, this is a top-notch video. Very beautiful. Great editing as well. Cheers!
I love those Tennessee woods as well my friend. What about Uwharrie National Forest near you? how's the hiking there?
Those guys are for sure a riot. Who needs enemies when you have these jokers to yank your chain. Met every one of them on HF or met them thru someone on HF. Good bunch of boys, EVEN THOUGH!
HA! You are just jealous that you don't have the legs of a stallion :) Now your calves on the other hand well that's a differnt story!
I use the Texas Petes brand Sriracha sauce. Taste better that the Hoy fong sriracha in my opinion. We didn't take the same trail back we took the rim trail out. We had 3 camp sites.. i stayed at...
Just got back from meeting up with some other hammock forum members and YouTubers. We met at Savage Gulf. We had a blast hiking together. Hope you guys enjoy!
Savage Gulf is 15,590-acre natural...
Beautiful dog and a beautiful Hike! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment Sidney. I will say it could have been a little bit more of a pleasant romp but in the end it worked out nicely.. I'm ready to go back already.
Thank you very much. I read your message last night. Would have been nice to meet up for some dinner or a cocktail. I hope you enjoyed your stay.
You guys planning a Suwannee trip? I'm in.
Nice romp on the upper end, I really want to hit that end of the trail next time. We are also tossing up the idea of the Isle Royale.. Cheers man.
I'm looking forward to it as well. I see someone has a video up of the Isle Royale, I'm going to check that out now.
The fall colors were beautiful for sure, I do wish I'd waited a week...
Awww man we had a blast. Maybe a little moist but those last couple of day were perfect.
Thank you for taking a peep at it.
He got it custom from HG and if I remember correctly I think it was over 500 I think.
The last two days with great weather made it all worth it. Even though I'm not particularly fond of the wet weather you do find out what gear works and what doesn't work.
Hahaha I'll buy your next...
Just returned from a 4 day soggy trip from the SHT. We had a blast this year. I really like the Northern parts of the SHT. I hope to hit the most northern section next year.

Part 2...
looks like a nice little spot..
I have no idea what the motives behind making a short gathered end hammock with a price point that high are. I can tell you that I will report back to Mikel with the complaints, likes, dislikes etc....
I just finished up the review on the Amok Segl. It's a solid hammock in my opinion. Nothing fancy, a gathered end hammock made from Robic material. I really love the suspension. The set up is light...
Ha! I wonder if the sap will be running in September?
Sounds good to me, I'm just looking forward to some cooler temps :)
I'm heading up to the SHT from September 14th -19th. I'm meeting up with Alifeoutdoors. He's able to hike with me Friday the 15th - Sunday the 17th anyone else want to hike with us or meet up with me...
For the record! I am the Big Spoon!
A great camp spot. Definitely a favorite spot of mine. Love the look of Dutch Chameleon, I wanted one but Management shut that down quick as soon as I mentioned getting it.
